Detox Capacity Saliva & Urine Profile
Three compounds, caffeine, acetaminophen, and acetylsalicylic acid, are taken orally to challenge the liver's Phase I and Phase II detoxification capacity. Saliva and urine are analyzed for metabolites of the three compounds to determine how well the liver can convert and clear toxins from the body. This test is not recommended for children 12 years old and younger.
